Massage Therapy
I have a Diploma in Massage therapy and 20 years of experience in treating a wide range of conditions. I qualified in Swedish massage and trigger point therapy at the Canterbury College of Natural Medicine and have a real passion for treating those with specific and often long term pain. Many of my clients are sports people who understand the positive impact massage can have on their performance.
Therapeutic massage can be beneficial for treating pain, stiffness, restricted range of motion of a joint or to speed up recovery after an injury or event. It can also help treat tension headaches, reduce stress and anxiety and help improve sleep
Each first time appointment starts with a brief health history, ensuring I know about any conditions, medications, or injuries which may affect the massage. Treatments are tailored to meet the specific needs of the client and referrals will be made where necessary.
